Leaving your loved ones will be a hard thing to do, but at least you know you have everyone behind you, supporting you and encouraging you.

It'll take time to recover from homesickness, but think of the people you'll meet, the opportunities you'll have, the places you'll see. You're not leaving forever, just gone for a little while.

Don't feel regret towards what's happened to the past, just make the best of the present and see what the future brings.

I'm turning 21 this year and finishing uni soon, but I still feel very much like a child. Turning 20 or any other age doesn't mean we become a different person overnight. Be proud of your achievements. Despite being (only) 1 year older than you, I admire your courage, your outspoken manner, your strong principles.

Stay strong for the ones you'll be leaving behind, because they are even stronger for letting you go.

Agree with #27, Sazzy should stop judging and focus on being a HOST, and she's doing quite a bad job in both.

Remember that integrity starts with all of us and it really is about the little things we do.". same reason why we voice out our dissatisfaction that our mainstream media has a biased voice because they are owned by certain political parties. the new media is certainly refreshing and powerful, but with these I feel it should also come with the minimum journalistic responsibilities, especially for the mega popular ones (I mean this as a compliment), to jump on the "it's my personal space and I can do whatever I want" cart a little less hastily.

Media Bias Excellent and timely article.

Voter Participation Great to have non partisan voter drives. Lots of people are suspicious of party drives. The old story of if you register to vote you will get called for jury duty is still going round.

I think a big effort should be made to get women to push their husbands, boyfriends, male coworkers and male relatives to VOTE. I know half a dozen men that do not vote where I work out of 50 men. Two tell me they have never voted and the rest do not bother.

Kennecott Sulfide Mine I am disappointed that the UP Legislators took even a glass of water from this mining company. While, I realize it is part of the process to attend hearings or presentations from both sides of any issue, this is one where the Legislators staff need to have been particularly diligent in vetting. I respectfully request that the Legislators involved reexamine this issue and give a real listen to their constituents.

The Legislators should ask Governor Granholm to become involved in this issue too and to urge the DEQ to not allow this permit to go through.
