When it was called "batter breathing dragon" I thought the dragon sprayed batter that the knight somehow cooked into pancakes on his armor. Now that it's "pancake dragon" I see what Thuro sees. Pancake Breathing Dragon might work a little better, maybe.

Maybe she wasn't looking for sex anyway. Mantids are cannibalistic whether or not they're mating, they just eat anything eatable they can get their claws on :p

Gorgeously drawn with a lot of cute touches, but there isn't really a "setup" because the gag is obvious as soon as we see that she's a mantis. Since we already know what mantises do, I think it'd honestly work better if you took the first panel and moved it to the end, to be a "here we go again" sort of punchline with all the amusing stuff to read.

Truck Bearing Kibble is trite compared to a GAMER COMIC? Sorry, PBF has its moments, but it's not a real webcomic if you only have to read the accompanying blog to get most of the jokes.

Besides that, you can't say the drawings are better. They're in a totally different style, there's no comparison. This site's comic isn't always funny, but the artwork is beautiful, almost too good for a webcomic.

I don't think the media you have or haven't gotten around to seeing really determines being an ignoramus.

I get it, but I've never been fond of jokes that require you to be familiar with some specific work of fiction.

I can't believe people are bothered by the pie gun physics. THAT'S THE JOKE. You see the normal-looking gun and expect a bullet. Instead, it's a whole big pie. If the gun actually looked like it could fire a pie, the comic would not be funny at all.

Why does everyone keep saying you have to understand the title to get it? I didn't know what "do while" meant until reading the comments and I understood the comic perfectly. It's obvious that he's stuck in a cycle, and knowing the programming terminology for it doesn't add anything to that.
