Another potential question to ask is if Petraeus is related to Westmoreland. The more I think about it ... I get this awful sensation in the pit of my stomach.

This is not surprising. John McCain gives the awful impression that he is incapable of thinking on his feet. I wish it were otherwise. Unfortunately, it's as if he were selling himself to die in the Oval Office so his successor -- whoever that might be -- can easily take over.
