1st it was the eBay news, then news of the biggest Can Spam settlement in history. 2.9 Million. Way to go Vclick! Your stock is really going to take a hit now.

Wonder how shoppingads.com (originally ShoeMoney's AuctionAds) will be affected because of the changes above. Their widget was pulling from CJ too and serving TONS of CJ/eBay links to TONS of affiliates - at least in the beginning, not sure how they are doing now.

Oh got it. I thought you were saying affiliates could use this extension to drop links somehow.

Shawn I blogged about this earlier today as it pertains to finding keyword domains and Richard just emailed me about it.

I can't figure out what you mean when you say "Affiliate Link Distribution" and but it’s a great place to work in affiliate links. I don't see how that ties in. What am I missing?

Hi Shawn, I found out about Flyers awhile back and just started testing yesterday.

I didn't blog about it however, because a bunch of blackhat affiliates already have tried to ruin it for everyone, so I didn't really want to spread the word and have more people try to game the system. Facebook has been doing a big crackdown as it is and they're gunning for spammers or anyone using affiliate links.

But like you said, for legit marketing it could be pretty good. I'm just using it for a straight ad to the 5 Star blog and I'm using Flyers Pro PPC.

So far the 1st day I've gotten 1,986 impressions - 0 clicks!
So I'm highly underwhelmed. However the targeting options aren't very tight and I bid pretty low. So we'll see.

For more consumer oriented products, or ads that are more youth and entertainment oriented, it could work well.

Like you, I've tried them all and I just like it the best.

Lately though there have been numerous times when it can't grab my feeds and they come up empty - server overload I guess. So I've started using NetVibes as a back up. NV is cooler and more web 2.0 but Yahoo is just plain easier to skim and easier to read.
