I enjoy tweetdeck, seesmic or other tools but I still find that they lack capacities in filtering/highlighting content.<br><br>One of the solution is perhaps to move to what I would call tag cloud 2.0:<br>The tag cloud is for me the best way to survey information on twitter on real time and it can be used as the basis for the real time web browser. What we need is:<br>- a "website" that would receive all our information private/semi-private/public: ie stream agnostic<br>- that would present them as an enhanced "tag cloud" (words as well as pictures, vids and other rich content)<br>- that would be able to dynamically highlight the information that matters to us (and adapt to it while pushing other information, think Pandora as a raw idea). for ex: a mail from your mother "weight" more than 100000000000 messages on a celebrity on twitter<br>- That would show the past for the "tag cloud" and the past for the "tag cloud" details (what was important globally / how a wave with your mother evolved)<br>-How the "tag cloud" would interact with you would depend on location and device. for ex watching a move on tv would limit the scope of notification you would receive.<br>- A possible base would be to attach a string of characteristics (DNA) to each piece of information (a la Pandora for music), for ex how much you reshare and how much things you receive are reshared would be one of these characteristics and would influence the ranking in the cloud.<br><br>Raw ideas, but if anyone can build that , I am really interested!YannThu, 08 Oct 2009 17:39:51 -0000
