Good post, saw it when it was first published, meant to comment -- good stuff.

Esp. about link whores ... they complain the loudest of the bunch.

So thanks with your help, I think using aggregation, and compelling people to register via their syndication links will reduce the spammage, and help us keep better track of inactivity and content.

Blogs are as much about syndication these days as they are about braindumping.
