some type details: the smallcaps how come not consistent for 'uppercase'? Sideshow the DE kerning a bit off, and the KL Word presents alignment, mb make it more aligned to the SIDESHOW? Looks like it's flying up a bit towards the right. 1st Nov and 1st drink st in superscript? is the tattoo lady desc necessary?

$ and not RM? green stripe along the skull?

did you bold "the l word"? looks a bit distracting, and leading there could do some work.

but good work. nice poster, i like. did you make the image?

isn't it a marketing strategy to identify what your product's biggest weakness is, and launch a competing product yourself instead of allowing someone else to do it first? Or maybe they're aiming different target markets.

ugh, number 8 guesthouse. their service pisses me off.

ngau kee used to be more fun when the couple running it used to work together, and screamed at each other all the time. you could tell who always ate there because they'd ignore it (happened every night / possibly hour). it doesn't taste like it used to, but none of the old hawker shops really do and i still like it anyway.

number 8 cancelled a room reservation on me, after they said it was okay for me to pay the deposit an hour later because i was having lunch in lot 10 - i had asked them to notify me if i had to head there immediately for the deposit, which they agreed to, very pleasantly. i arrived to find i'd lost a room - no apologies.

I was trying to tell you over twitter that you could come do a couchsurfers thing at my place when you were stranded there (am following your account), but couldn't get the msgs through :)

And yes, the KLIA caused a furor over taxpayer's money -- that is, till we saw what it looked like. I love how that's the first thing our visitors see (unless they took the budget airlines and ended up at the low cost terminal instead).

(er, that being said, most design people tend to complain that somewhere in arrivals you might see a hideous, makeshift stand for "Visit Malaysia" year -- which is every year -- or whatever thingmajig they're promoting, usually an event built to be an eyesore, with a patch of plastic jungle to represent the borneo side)
