I blooper occasionally, even as resent as this morning. Searching for a drive to tonight's ultimate frisbee match, I sent this message to several teammates before realizing the unfortunate typo: "I need a life."

While I eventually found the lift I needed, I also found a day's worth of heckling and sarcastic sympathy.

The Montreal Gazette runs a popular blog on the Montreal Canadiens (that's hockey for the uninitiated), and are given full access for blogging and podcasting purposes. Considering that few locker rooms could possibly be more crowded by journalists, the team's pro-blog position--even if it is for a newspaper blog--is commendable.

I just signed up, but my dashboard disappointingly doesn't look anything like the one pictured in the post. What gives? Is that just a mock up?

It is also safe to say that the mapping technology Israel uses to enforce its illegal occupation of Palestinian territory is significantly more detailed than Google Earth, and doesn't blur out their nuclear weapon depots in the Negev desert.

I'd love to see a similar piece on via links, feel free to entertain the idea.

If there is anything that will make me give up entirely on Facebook it is application spam. They definitely need a feature allowing you to block all such requests.
