I blooper occasionally, even as resent as this morning. Searching for a drive to tonight's ultimate frisbee match, I sent this message to several teammates before realizing the unfortunate typo: "I need a life."

While I eventually found the lift I needed, I also found a day's worth of heckling and sarcastic sympathy.

The Montreal Gazette runs a popular blog on the Montreal Canadiens (that's hockey for the uninitiated), and are given full access for blogging and podcasting purposes. Considering that few locker rooms could possibly be more crowded by journalists, the team's pro-blog position--even if it is for a newspaper blog--is commendable.

I just signed up, but my dashboard disappointingly doesn't look anything like the one pictured in the post. What gives? Is that just a mock up?

From astute political commentator to corporate whore in a few short months, Tay now enjoys less credibility than the dog shit on the shoes of mainstream hip hop artists. Of course hip hop took a decade or two to completely sell out, a feat Tay has accomplished in the fraction of the time. Congrats, cola boy.

Unlimited text messaging plans? Those exist? Oh crap, I forgot that not everyone lives in Canada, the land where telecoms companies charge more for a kb of data than they would for the first born of their CEO.

Damn you, Adam! Don't you know that I'm always first? Get back in your Hummer with Mark Z and your Colt 45s, ya lush.

Fourth. (I ate the first three. Let this be a warning to those who dare try to out-first me!)

First! (I really don't get how anyone could do this "first" crap in real non-troll week life. It is so damn dull, and perhaps the worst ever use of Twitter I've come across.)

Oh, and I heard a rumor that Adam got nailed with a DUI whilst Mark Zuckerberg sat next to him in his Spongebob Squarepants briefs, grooming his MySpace page on his iPhone. Any truth to that?

I'm the real first, Brian is an impostor! Boo, impostor! You don't even have a profile pic. You are clearly no new media douchebag.

Your mom is my favourite new media douchebag, especially when she's stuffing the turkey, if you know what I'm saying.

Is the use of "Terrorists" in the header editorial commentary, or SEO sensationalism?

It is also safe to say that the mapping technology Israel uses to enforce its illegal occupation of Palestinian territory is significantly more detailed than Google Earth, and doesn't blur out their nuclear weapon depots in the Negev desert.

I'd love to see a similar piece on via links, feel free to entertain the idea.

If there is anything that will make me give up entirely on Facebook it is application spam. They definitely need a feature allowing you to block all such requests.
