That's hilarious!

I'm now going off to read your article and hopefully I'll find enough inspiration to write a post titled "Google, I want a new car... (make sure its got a/c, gps mapping, and some cool sound system)".

in You know what my problem is? on Pervasive Smothering
Hmm, so you guys are telling me that crappy multitasking and daydreaming are not necessarily a unique problem?

I've often wondered why don't we humans all agree to stop pushing ourselves too hard, and start taking a more humane approach to working/living.

But, I think that will always remain just a dream.

lmao... yeah, I'm afraid Mexico is filled with Mexicans... the bastards!!

Garza Garca is kind of being absorbed by Monterrey. Nevertheless, it's one of Mexico's "richest" cities.

Too bad I haven't gone to Dallas... it'd be nice to check out the spot of JFK's death.

Thank you very much for your time and comment, Orchid. =)

And indeed, I hope I do well in my exams... ugh... Chemical Engineering can be a heavy challenge sometimes.

I'm sorry for having so many mistakes. :S I'm in the process of 'tidying up' this place, so there will be a couple of more changes to come.

and I am happy that you translated for us people who have not had the pleasure of knowing the language of Spanish, which I deeply regret now, because I had no idea that it would come into such importance and meaning in my life, although it is a very popular languageDon't worry... we're still young enough to learn other languages: I want to learn german and french... for instance.

And yes Orchid, a lot of people are out there that we wouldn't expect to find out how nice they are.

But I think that the nice people we find every now and then make this world seem like a much happier place than it is.

I am sorry I did not see this sooner, only it appears that when I have tried to open this in the past, my computer would get stuck and freeze up, and it is quite a frustrating process for a girl like I, who doesn't have a computer which never freezes.Hey, don't worry... until I buy myself rolandog.com, I think we're all stuck with just 1 version of my blog. Orchid, I hereby grant you until then a permission for not visitng my blog... lol.

But it's only valid for 4 months. =)

in ‘That’s some quality shit, son’ on Pervasive Smothering
Lol, don't worry Russ. I will gladly translate it so you can read it... Every once in a while it is nice to stop anything we're doing and try to figure a reason for it all.

This guy, called Nicolás first said:

I realized that through this week I couldn't think about anything else but her. Mainly about the search of life, what do we look for in it? Or better said: what should we be looking for? Could it be that we have to choose what we have in front? Do we have to accept it and not worry anymore? The truth is I don't know, I would love to have an answer but I can only dare say it is all very complicated...Then I answered:
I cannot throw an answer that comes straight from my heart, or from a deep thought without seeming like a fool for not living up to the principles I'd like to say.

Why should I tell you to look for happiness and go anywhere your hert tells you to go? Who has such authority to tell you the woman you have right next to you wont make you as happy as any one you can find in another country?

I graduate at the end of this year as a Chemical Engineer. I'm a 20 year old dude,... I turn 21 in may. During this year, and pretty much for the last 6 months I've been learning much about myself and about life. I can't say I know it all. As a matter of fact, I only know that for every rule there will be one or more exceptions.

In my opinion, what you look for in life is happiness. And there are a lot of forms of happiness. But... let me tell you that happiness is easily found, and that's no secret. Now, I've been raised as a catholic all my life, but for some time now, I've been slacking and turning into an lax catholic. But that doesn't mean I have forgotten the basic stuff: that in:
* the natural law
* the 10 commandments of the law of God
* and the "11th commandment" (You must love your neighbor as yourself)
you will find happiness and wisdom.

In my case, I know that I'll need to work hard to stay alive,... but I'll live to love the woman I am lucky to call my wife.

in Blog: Redesigned on Pervasive Smothering
Hi Orchard! I'm glad you understood my ramblings about how to surf this blog.

And well... I think I'll be buying rolandog.com for my birthday, so I'll have a *light* version of the site, and a *heavy* one fully scripted like this one.

My blog isn't that popular now... I stopped surfing through the Holidays. I like it this way, for I agree with few best blogger friends, instead of lots of contacts.

But I still try reading my former frequent visitor's blogs.

Well, I've got to leave. The school bus leaves in about 10 mins. I'll visit your blog when I arrive home. Bye!

But first I think I'll have to get a funny picture for it to be capped. Who knows,... a funny shot is worth a try.
