So instead of using email, I get facebook messages which then sends an email telling me that I have a message and so I have to click the link in my email, then log into facebook, then click the message THEN I can read it. How inefficient.

Facebook on the whole is friggen awesome though.

Re: the Jesus Manifesto » Maintenance Mode

I love facebook, but one thing that really annoys me about it is that it has a messaging system. I think that web-based resources are most easily distributed and here are a few good examples.

http://www.biblegateway.org/
This is chock full features and all free.

http://www.ebible.net/
The quality here is 'so-so' at the moment, but they are adding to it every day. and it is free

http://www.holylandphotos.org/
The guy who took all these photos and wrote all the content on this site has volunteered thousands of hours to provide this for free.

I also think that it is important that some people be able to devote themselves full-time to creating good resources. And since they need to eat and pay the bills, it is necessary for them to have some sort of income. The good news is that there are now MANY creative ways to create income while providing resources for free. We just need to think up some more good ideas.

Re: Into the Cocoon.

On October 22nd, jesusmanifesto.com will cease to be my love voice.

Crap.
