He's been on my radar for awhile as there are other clubs i follow that had their eyes on him. I've been using Linux now for the last 6 years, strictly for the last 2, and an exclusive Ubuntu user for most of that time. I have sampled others and always returned to Canonical, but 8.10 is a real disappointment. Support for my nVIDIA card is lacking and 3d acceleration that worked under 8.04 won't under 8.10?!? I've seen some poor distros but this one takes the cake. Is this a problem they're working on? Will other Ubuntu forks like Linux Mint have the same issues? All is not lost though thanks to you both.
