hey thanks for that. i had the original file and tried editing for 3G but got nowhere. Just added in the accepted phones 'nokiae71-1' and its installed on my E71 and working over HSDPA so that will be great for traveling back from work every day!

Im selling on my Bold not because its a bad phone.... its 1 of the best i have ever used!!.

But i have managed to buy a Samsung i8510 from a friend which is coming tomorrow with all its 8mp camera glory!.

Plus im due an upgrade so holding out for the C905 or the new LG 8mp touch screen.

I was a vodafone customer until today. Shocking CS at 191 and total lack of 3G pretty much anywhere from Torquay to Lands End when on Holiday where i am now...... having a slow GPRS connection is a total turn off for me. Got me a t-mobile modem on test and using HSDPA/HSUPA in my room now to type this getting an average of 1.2 to 1.3mb/s connection speeds which is very fast on my Advent.

Of course signal is different for everyone but just watch out because by end of the year 3 and T-Mobile will have 7.2mb/s and HSUPA across all the network where as a lot of Voda's network will still be 1.8mb/s

im not interested because there is no visual voicemail which was a unique feature of this phone. Snapped up a bold and will get an Android phone when they go on sale which both in my eyes are better than the over-rated, over-priced Apple phone

And im an apple fan!

about time vodafone did something like this although £30 to get free texts..... do you keep the credit or does it come off to pay for those texts

£369.99 for a sim free bold in Carphone, I bought 1 a few days ago and have been using T-Mobile and Vodafone with no problems at all.

Its a VERY NICE phone (im using as my modem for my small advent 4211 to type this).

i bought 1 sim free from Carphone Warehouse today for my Voda & T-Mobile SIMS. Very impressed so far

best deal is T-Mobile for £7.50 because even if you go over the 1GB allowance there is no charge.... if you go way over you get contacted to moderate use but no extra money is paid

I used to work for the store so spoke to a mate who still works there. the dummy phones came in today and the real ones are any day. I did a credit check and passed (rare for me) so am waiting on the system for a 12 month 500 mins with unlimited texts plus Add Broadband Plus for modem use :)
