Thanks for sharing your opinion. Sorry about your personal energy. Should he get elected as president, we'll see how different Obama will be in regards to Israel. I know how I think a Clinton administration would be in that regard. And that's a serious negative for US interests.

You read that as a specific attack at those in Shakesville. It is an observation about how the MSM operates on the large scale. There is nothing "veiled" about referencing Biden's own words. Everyone and his brother/mother is going over what Biden has said in the past with a fine tooth comb but this for whatever reason is omitted.

Why?

Is it that everyone is pro-Zionist? If so, why not point out that Biden is staunchly pro-Zionist? If there are varying viewpoints, why not discuss that as well? I am glad that Sen. Obama seeks a fair and equitable peace in the Middle East. His method of trying to acheive that is worth discussing as is the positions of people he will be working with; including his running mate.

You want to point to an instance on my part of anti-Semitism, do so. Otherwise STFU with your baseless smears.

In my world view, that makes me pro-Israel as well since it will only be by treating the other inhabitants of the region fairly that they can acheive any measure of security.

Smearing someone as anti-Semitic (and continuing to do so) might not fall neatly into into those categories, but it is tolerated. I don't think many will discuss Biden's Zionism whether they're pro- or anti the Obama ticket.

I am voting for Obama and one of my main reasons for disliking Sen. Clinton was/is her pandering to Israel. Her promise to "annihilate" Iran should they attack Israel established that. The neo-cons are itching for a war with Iran and will help anyone who will further that goal along. Hillary's status as a potential spoiler helps McSame and therefore helps the neo-cons. Hillary herself in office would also be a win for the neo-cons. Obama not so much, though with Biden on the ticket they have hedged their bets.

Your "argument" to date has been entirely ad hominem without backing up any of your assertions (hence terms like "vaguely" and thinly "veiled"). The only thing that irritates me is that the US relationship with Israel is discussed so very little even though it represents such a substantial influence on our foreign policy. You are part of the problem as you seek to drown out any rational discussion of it with your smears. It is clear why as your ability to craft a solid argument is lacking.

Arguably the most powerful person of the 20th century was FBI head J. Edgar Hoover as he had the dirt on everyone and used it for leverage. I have no doubt that illegal surveillance is used against political enemies. The US is adopting the Israeli/Mossad police state model at the same time Israel is using its vast spy network to blackmail US leadership.

The spector of false-flag operations is probably the greatest threat we face in the modern world. Especially since the more shocking the horror, the better cover it provides (i.e. Our government would NEVER do something like that!). This is particularly problematic as the new saber-rattling involves nukes. A criminal government aided by media complicity through ignorance or collusion would be able to lay the blame at the feet of the enemy du jour.
