in Caut un telefon on web.alexbrie
mda, e si asta adevarat, ca un telefon e facut sa sune. dar, vezi tu, uneori te enerveaza cand suna fix in mijlocul noptii. asa ca ar fi dragut sa-l poti programa sa nu mai sune intre anumite ore.

in How To Improve Your Memory on How To Split An Atom
I can see what the previous commenters had in mind - really now, not your best of articles - the intro is much too long, only to tell people that in order to improve their memory they should:

a. try to memorize names by embedding them in a senseless story
b. write things down on paper
c. write things down on a web20 website
d. write things down on a pda
e. take files with them on a flashdrive

See? I made my list only 5 lines long and it's already easier to remember...
Really now, the article could have been made a lot more insightful if only you've taken a quick google search on mnemonics and memory...

in Sites shouldn’t be forced into taking advertising on Scobleizer
I know quite a few people who would argue with you: they earn an average wage by maintaining several niche ad-sensed blogs. It's hard work, but it's a great one if you enjoy blogging. Web content should be free, but web-content providers should get some money out of it...

in Book sales go up with free content? on Scobleizer
Dannie, you are right. I totally agree there is a huge difference between a paper book and an electronic version. The medium actually changes the way you read, the way you understand and remember things. For instance, I am unable to concentrate when reading something in electronic form. I just skim through text, use the search function, etc. On the other hand, a paper book implies concentration, attention, devotion.

in Twitter — hot service in SF, New York, and now London on Scobleizer
Pretty interesting idea, but it'll only take off if enough friends are using it, and if there are some desktop clients for quick posting. Otherwise, I'll probably keep using my instant messenger custom status feature.

in Hope Sinterklaas visited you on Scobleizer
In the Eastern Europe(and some Western Europe countries as well) Sinterklaas is replaced by Saint Nicholas, which is Santa's buddy/friend/relative, visiting kids in the night of 5 /early morning of 6 december . While Santa brings toys and the Eastern Bunny brings clothes, St Nicholas brings mostly sweets, leaving them in the children's boots (but only if they've been cleaned/taken care of).
The lazy/naughty kids only wake up to find some wooden sticks in their boots.

in Google getting faster on Scobleizer
I think Google is getting indeed faster, but only of a selected set of websites (i.e. the A list bloggers). For the rest of us, it barely notices the site even after full weeks. Or maybe the SEO matters as well?

in Does being on TechMeme improve your sex life? on Scobleizer
It seems to me that a large part of any blog's traffic comes from the conversation it makes around. If you start commenting and replying to other bloggers, you might actually get the chance to go up in the charts. If not, you are doomed, techmeme or not...
