Mark,
Thanks for stopping by. The jerks who posted this crap on RipOffReport think they will remain anonymous. Karma can be a cruel bitch, it will eventually make a full circle.

in Disqus – Why 95% Of Bloggers Should Switch on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
I think Disqus is one of the few to really keep up with the developments on other social networking sites. They adopted Facebook Connect rather promptly, now I see they offer users to comment using their Twitter credentials. Not sure if I will go back though. I will wait until Andy Beard feels that 99.9% of bloggers should use Disqus :) .

It is true, Google Analytics is free, however it does not give you the same insight into what we know as "long tail" as other tools do.

in CEO of LeapFish And Rumour Control on Go Beyond MLS
@Anonymous,
As I was reading Google's TOS for their Search API service, I have formed an opinion that LeapFish is indeed in violation of at least one of the terms. I am seriously considering a petition or an open letter to Schmidt, Page and Brin and to draw their attention to LeapFish.
@herOpsycho
There is nothing wrong that LeapFish uses Google's result. That's why Google offers the service through their APIs. I also see no harm for some one perusing current AdWords advertisers, I do however object to the methods employed in doing so. Even if you set a side harassment approach described by TechCrunch. LeapFish is less then honest about their traffic stats, the search volume pertaining to keywords they sell. If they decided to release the directly measured traffic stats that would probably shut the half of their critics. As far as search volume per keyword goes, I am afraid they may not have those stats themselves.... So all we have is the service like Alexa or Compete to guesstimate LeapFish's traffic. Neither of each is beneficial to LeapFish, especially in light of the claim that "thousands" of advertisers are using their system. They simple do not have enough visitors and page views to justify their prices- unless of course their sponsored ads get a whooping 80% click-through rate, which is highly unlikely. Numbers do not lie. And since we have no stats or data from LeapFish itself relying on not so accurate stats from Alexa or Compete really does not help LeapFish.
Wow, this comment along would have made for a good post.
Thank you both for stopping by and sorry for not answering both of your comments right away.

Not trying to make peace between you and the former minister... lol but you should quit for the sake of health...
How much is the pack over there? We pay about $7 a pack in New Jersey. One of the reasons I quit.

Matt,
Is the web is the only way you are using Twitter following more than 100 or 200 users can become an unpleasant experience and as far as "keeping conversation going" an impossible task.
After installing Seesmic Desktop I rarely use FireFox for my Twitter activity. Plus Seesmic allows you to create lists of users.

in Can You Make Money With AdBrite? on Sage Blogger
Bharath,
If you go to "settings and passwords" in your AdBrite account you can specify the amount to have the check issued to you. I am not sure what is their minimum but I have it set to $20. What it means is when your total earnings reach that amount a check will be issued to you.

Bharath,
You can't draw the money, they will issue a check once you reached $25 in earnings, if I am not mistaken.

Matt,
I think one of the reasons that webmasters shy away from this plugin is of it's complexity. You really need to spend time to truly get to know it.
There is however another plugin, a less complicated one http://thomas.stachl.me/plugins/wordpress-galle... - this one uses the WordPress' native media setup yet it integrates JW Image Rotator- give that a try you might like it. For me it did not work. I need it more flexibility therefore I went with NextGEN.
As always, pleasure to see you around.

Wayne,
Thanks for stopping by and sorry that your comment was held in moderation.
Initially I was planing to use listings from my own zip code for this post. But I realized that I may actually ed up with a inquiry about the listings so I chose you as I can easily forward the e-mails to you and Pat.
I think RealBird is doing very good job with their product and the widget can enhance a blog or website.
I hope you do not mind I used your listing as a showcase for this post.

in LeapFish Sells Keyword “Viagra” For $7,104? on Go Beyond MLS
Luis,
If you think you are doing yourself or your former employer a favor, think again. Internet has a very long memory.
If the incident to which I refer as click fraud is so insignificant, why then LeapFish fired that employee???
LeapFish is useless without Google and Yahoo, what do you think would happened if Google or Yahoo pulled the plug on LeapFish? But to answer your question, my beef is with every sleazy company out there, not just LeapFish.
To be honest I did not realize Mr. Behrouzi purchased the domain you just mentioned. So, no that is not an issue.
Hope it clears up few things for you. Feel free to stop by again if you have any other questions.

It's funny you mentioned it. I have not noticed until now that my PR went down as well. Nevertheless I do not see drop in traffic at all. Did I sent you an invite to connect with Go Beyond MLS via Facebook Connect?
