in Going nowhere fast on Inside the Hall
This team is just trying to get through the season. Sampson's hard-nosed leadership style was better for keeping our players focussed; Dan's personality and leadership prevents good coaching contact with our type of players. We have slipped badly and will not survive the BTT or the NCAA. We still need a change of leadership for Athletic Director. I hope that President McRobbie realizes that the next few months are a critical time for important decisions. He needs to confer with knowledgeable IU sources about the future because the flagship of IU sports is falling apart at the seams.

in Giving D.J. White his due on Inside the Hall
D.J. faces his biggest challenge against the up and coming Connecticut game because of its front line players. I hope IU is victorious in this game because it is will undoubtedly rate D.J. higher than other big man at IU in the past 30 years. It has been a pleasure to watch D.J. play and develop.

in Zeller decision coming on Monday afternoon on Inside the Hall
Here's hoping that Tyler chooses IU where he will have an outstanding career with an up and coming national championship team. If he goes elsewhere, I extend my best wishes upon his future. Tyler is a mature young man with many special gifts.

in Senderoff dismissal raises more questions on Inside the Hall
I would like to think that Sampson wanted Senderoff to stay; but, as the days went along, Sampson could not convince Greespan to keep Senderoff as our Assistant Coach. I can't help but feel that Sampson lost this battle within the Department of Athletics. I don't know why there was a change of direction regarding Senderoff's leadership. It appears from the published report that Senderoff intentionally avoided protocol on phone calls and attempted to hide making home phone calls to recruits. Greenspan evidently recognized that there was no way to avoid the intentionality factor in Senderoff's behavior. He was indeed a great recruiter and I think that he will find a great job recruiting in another conference. I think the NCAA Report will make Senderoff face some sanctions at another school before he can resume employment.
