World War II could not have been won without America. Before I say anything else, if France kept it's promise to Poland and attacked Germany when it said it would, there might not have been a World War II.

I really don't see how you can say World War II was not one without America, even not counting the military it could not have been one without America mass producing (and out producing the enemies) vehicles, tanks, planes and things like that, or the financial support. The US was fighting Japan without much support in one theater, and fighting the axis in Europe in another theater at the same time.

D-day was not a turning point, but without America, do you think it would have happend? Without America entering the war, do you think Russia could have stood up to all of Germany power, which I beleive they had over 1 million troops in Western Europe that did not engage Russia?

Also, regarding the american revolution, France did pretty much what you posted before and came in after the war was over. They didn't support the US much untill the turning point of the war, and did not show up in the USA untill the last battle of the war.

Did you know that Paris is the only modern capitol to ever be surrendered without a single shot fired in it's defense (in WWII)?
