Thanks Bear. That is my grandparents' freezer. They shop at Aldi, Topps and Wegmans.
Thanks Isabella. Butchering the Freezerburns theme is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Meg sorry about your mom.

Greg, the intro music is OK, but the closing theme is AWESOME!

People, here's the problem. The old theme song wasn't Greg's music. It came straight out of the iMovie stock music. Freezerburns is emerging as *THE* top source for frozen food reviews on the web and Gregory Ng is establishing himself as the Frozen Food Master. The old theme could evoke the wrong emotion in some people because they've heard it in another piece. He needs something that is uniquely his. Like the new music or not, the old song had to go. Personally, I think it rocks but don't like the "too coooold".

in The First (Known) Freezerburns Spoof Video on Freezer Burns: Video Frozen Food Reviews
Some people are disappointed that I did not finish the review. Inscrutibly, I was able to find a perfectly nuked Trader Joe's Shepherd's pie amongst the wreckage.
The potatoes are light and almost fluffy. The next time I make one, I am going to give the conventional oven a try, however, I do think that the microwave is an excellent option. The vegatables were all plump, juicy and tender. The meat, as I said in the video, is sort of like corned beef, but it's quite delicious, not too moist, not too dry. 4/5 stars

Greg, you know I love you bro, but it's not possible to appreciate Skyline Chili unless you live in Cincinnati or at least experience it there. Glad you liked it, but do you think you would know the joy of Anna's Taqueria if it came to you via Food Lion?
In fact, it DOES look like it does on the box if you get a 5 way at a real Skyline. Also, you majorly $@%(ed up the cheese. It has to be piled higher than the P&G building and needs to be shredded very fine and fluffed up. They should give you the cheese instead of the spaghetti. I agree.
It's an acquired taste--- either that or everything tastes good after drinking 4 Hudy Delights, http://www.hudydelightbeer.com/, which, since I'm the Belching Monkey, will tell you right now is a lot like battery acid or paint thinner.
BTW- one of the reasons I watch everytime is to see if you burn yourself.
Another AWESOME Freezer Burns. I can't wait to see what you do next.

That episode was one of the best so far. I can't believe you know so much about the Steven Seagall catalog. Also, tiny Christian Hosoi could catch serious air launching off of your hair.
I predict the next musician to see this episode names their band Mechanically Separated Turkey.

If you dig deeper, you will find that the Wikipedia site for Modernista! is only the default (direct) view.
If you click on http://www.modernista.com from some other site for instance via a google search or a yahoo search or even from a link on a twitter page, their little red menu is rendered on top of the referring page.
This tells coupled with their (as you say) arrogant commitment to Flash tells me that Modernista does not care about (arguably important things like) SEO. They do not want to be found via their site. They want conversations like this to drive "the right person" to them. My guess is that they are hoping that these types of conversations will bring the client to the table that wants something not out-of-the-box, but rather not anywhere NEAR the box. Something that is out-of-the-realm-of-otherwise-thought-of-as-reasonable-thought.
This is actually an even HIGHER level of arrogance than a plain flash site. By the way, they have not totally killed the flash, you can get to it via the wiki page.

in What If Everyone Suddenly Believed the Apple Propaganda? on Digital Before Digital
Barry,
I think it’s funny that just because I have some Appley iconage and an Apple 2+ in my masthead that you assume that I am drinking the Apple Kool-Aid. Au contraire! The apple 2+ was my first machine. I have not owned an Apple since, although I am considering buying a mac-mini for media. I am a technology agnostic. I think that there is a place for PCs, a place for Linux and UNIX machines and a place for Macs.
Bergman makes a great point here. Apple has better marketing than Microsoft. They really need to pay attention to this and fire back, although it's going to be tough when a lot of the Vista related points that Apple is making are valid.

in Get Faster on Chris Brogan
Is this what you have learned from the wolf?
[Initial thought]
It is not always best to be the first person to get your thoughts (which as a consultant is your product) out there. You should be sure that you have something that is well formed or at the very least thought provoking. There will always be others who are ready to pick apart, run with or maybe smash your idea into the ground.
[After Re-reading, processing, synthesizing]
I think that you are trying to say that being a leader in the social media space requires you to synthesize and come to conclusions quickly so that you are leading the charge.
This post is sort of counter to your personal mission: which I perceive to be "a person who strives to form communities to encourage the sharing of ideas and conversations for the general betterment of society."
Sometimes the first person to talk merely forms the basis for the idea which is then processed by other people's perspectives and becomes something fully baked or perhaps even all-new.
One of the problems with the net and the social media space is that we are easily distracted by the next thing. There are some good ideas out there that are left half baked because something new came along that caught our attention. We as humans are only so scalable and I think that a lot of the people in this space are not willing to get very deep into the inner workings / true potential behind some of these tools, mostly because of their desire to see what is next.
Can you think of any ideas that you wish received more attention or could have used your direction to get to the next level and make a difference?
