(i would include derby in that list but they've already been relegated). it all depends on who does just enough in january to survive.

birmingham, sunderland, fulham, and reading wont get relegated, but their poor periodic performances will give their fans heart attacks and spells of depression along the way.

newcastle and tottenham will have disappointing seasons. again.

Re: Jack Bell is a Wanker

thats funny, i was actually just beginning to enjoy jack bell. now i am smacking my forehead.

its really funny how he draws the correlation between murdoch and fsc broadcasting the epl (oops! sorry, bpl). he's obviously trying to play to a certain base.

but does bell realize that the bpl is the #1 (or close #2) league in the WORLD? why wouldnt fsc focus on england? and if they decided to be unsound, they cant devote time to other leagues because:

a)goltv owns the rights to la liga and bundesliga (and had serie a until this season)

b)setanta owns the other piece of the bpl and ccc pie.

c)mls is total rubbish. (sorry, but why would you devote 100% of your resources to a third tier league?)

and complaining about american announcers adopting british terminology - does he know what lingo and lexicon mean?

Re: Memo to Fox Soccer Channel: 5 Ways to Improve FSC

i dont really get the opportunity to watch fsc much while at school, but here's what i think should be changed:

make super sunday + about leagues other than what what fsc airs. sorry, but i dont really care about the Argentine league and its obvious none of the pundits know much either. (does anyone know what happened to those two other dudes?). and find some pundits who are actually insightful - saying fulham is in relegation trouble yet sitting at 12th is either bias or laziness.

i agree with your weekly analysis show. having bobby mcmahon only on friday and monday is annoying because he is coupled with highlights of matches from several days before.

other than that i cant really complain about fsc. their production quality is light years ahead of goltv, whose graphics and sounds remind me of the bud bowl.

Re: The Premier League Manager Merry-go-round

hey wow - two people that agree with me that fulham wont (or shouldnt i should say) be relegated! everyone seems to pick on them for the drop, but they obviously havent been watching them. yes, they've conceded all their goals after 80mins. but their goal differential is light years ahead of the teams at the bottom. and although its only three points, GD is more telling in my opinion. So unless they really crap the bed, LS wont lose his job.

And i think Reading are a candidate for the drop that no one is mentioning. They've been quite poor, especially on the road. Fulham cant win matches away, but they arent losing 7-4 at pompey or 3-1 at fulham. I dont think they will go down, but it'll be close. If they do, Coppell wont be fired but he'll probably choose to leave for another prem team.

And as I wrote several posts ago, it'll be Derby, Wigan, and Boro going down; with Bolton barely surviving. Southgate is totally out.

Re: CSRN 1-0 World Soccer Daily

WSD probably takes in more ratings for their own show than CSRN gets an entire day.

You may disagree with WSD a lot, but at least its entertaining. Can't really say the same for CSRN and the 2 zzzzzzzzz's.

Now, can someone explain what all the beef is about anyway?
