I would avoid exploration stocks, unless you know something others don't. Companies that sell commodities (gold, silver and yes oil) have zero pricing power which makes it tough to carve out a competative advantage. I'm with UMO on the ETF's. Also check out ticker symbol OIL. This summer's gonna be a b*tch at the pump.

Great post... wouldn't have known that stuff otherwise.

And a great point "a President does not institute policy." We need to stop blaming and criticizing presidents for issues and situations that are out of their control. And start holding them more accountable for the things that are.

Yeah, Stan definately will not be starving, that's for sure. But do you buy all that about him talking about a merger without the board's concent? Doesn't sound like something a 10+ year vet would do.
