I'm keeping on top of things, and I hope for your sake (and indirectly - mine) things change once all the poles close in the west.

in A Very Serious Work Safety Video [Disturbing] on dmiessler.com | grep understandingYeah, these are our "smarten up" commercials here in Canada. they're put on by the WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board). it's becoming a very big thing. There's a few of these commercials: Guys getting impaled by forklifts, girls falling off ladders into plate glass display cases... even radio commercials about your hands being crushed by a 10 ton press from poor training.
They're graphic because they're trying to drive a message home - they were quite controversial when they first came out.
Personally I agree with them - being a general contractor in the construction industry as a profession, I can agree that there really is no such thing as an "accident" it can all be prevented. If something does happen to an employee while under your supervision there are MAD fines, and possible jail time....
