Which hours are measured in the daytime and primetime slot?

Steven, primetime is for cable is always 8pm-11pm, even on Sunday. The total day is for the total day but only the total of hours broadcasted. Nick, for example, is less than 24 hours because of Nick at Night during primetime counts as a separate channel, but others like ESPN are 24x7.

How did "Fab Five" do on Lifetime last night?

Steven, no idea at all. Just so you'll know, we only get cable ratings once a week (Tuesdays, for the prior Monday-Sun) and only the Top 40 at that. Sometimes the cable nets will pass us ratings outside the top 40, but when that happens you can usually find it elsewhere by doing a Google search. But if there will be any public data available for Fab Five, I doubt you will see it online anywhere until tomorrow (Monday).

Steven, I can't comment on this week in particular because I didn't see the data for TPIR. But generally when I have seen it my experience is this: it gets WAY more viewers than most daytime fare, but less in the 18-49 (male or female).

You're right it did. They don't have as much money as USA and TNT do to promote their shows.

Steven, I was sure I replied to your first comment in this thread but now I don't see my reply. Probably a sign that I need to back away from the computer for a while! I agree with youIt's been reported that they had a $25 million budget to promote Mad Men this season. That seems really high, but I know for sure they're doing at least some promotin because I saw several ads for the premiere while watching ESPN last week.

Oh please, Steven -- SpongeBob is king (and lords even over Hannah Montana!). It beats Dexter, Entourage and even my The Wire by a wide margin. That is no basis to judge the quality of a show.

Steven, We only see the top 40 cable shows and Secret LIfe wasn't one of them. My quick Googling failed to find a press release with the numbers, but it could be out there.
