I love Twitter. I wish I had responded to Darren's tweet. He's a cool guy. Twitter has completely changed my social circle. In addition it has brought a bunch of attention to my music blog. Congrats on being in the video!

Very well written Robert. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here. I agree, as things begin to get simpler, and the buying public constantly demands knowledge and faster service, that this gives them that. I agree with #31 Adi above, that this will spark a healthy competition and perhaps innovation, in both the products, and the buying experience.

I use Google's Adsense and I agree with these pointers. Blending in the Ad is always the best tip. Also a good tip is that too much Adsense on a website will hurt too, because you'll decrease traffic and destroy your content.

Don't know who would be in the lineup. But the sport would have to be soccer - it's the best sport! HAHA. I would have to say I'd see myself as the starter. I can start things, and started my own music blog, and enjoy getting things off the ground.

Nice post! I agree, Magpie made the Twitter community upset, but as most business models, it was uncharted territory. As for Twitter's business model, I remember reading that they may charge a premium (like Flickr Pro) and even release their webstats (for a hefty price) - so if Starbucks or US Airwas wants to see their Twitter traffic and where its coming from it'll cost them.
