She has been one of the shining lights in the Conference, and I think she will bring a great spirit to the district.

Re: Conference

Lloyd and Clair were there, sitting near me and my wife. Kay and I were in the Ouray, Silverton, Telluride area for our honeymoon and it's one of my favorite places in the world. I hope the wildflowers were out because my memories of Yankee Boy Basin (on the back side of the mountain from Telluride) are filled with those flowers. Your story makes me want to head back soon.

Re: Monday Night Baseball

I would love to go, since I am old enough to have attended Washington Senator's games at RFK (and I have a baseball bat to prove it!), but the commute is a bit much. Have a great time.

Re: GodBlogCon is open for feedback

Well if I had known about it, I might have come (although October is a lousy month for most pastors!!!). I may be coming to D.C. to do a workshop for Methodist pastors on podcasting, and I have an article coming out in Congregations (the Albin Institute journal) that looks at how self publishing is effecting the church. Sorry I didn't keep up on this event (for some reason your feed disappeared from my bloglines account), and I hope you had a great time.

By the way, I need to talk to you and your lovely bride about participating in an Emergent event in May in Chicago.

jv
