Well, I think you're just succumbing to your "extreme" tendencies. Two or three feeds are fine. Just draw the line there.

Wondering if you've thought about doing different "editions." I.e., different feeds for the different types of posts you write. You always seem a bit apprehensive about posting the more personal, "useless" stuff on the blog. This way, you can still have everything go on the blog and be a part of joshkim.org, but let people choose between an everything feed and a sans-JKness feed.

If you decide to stick to that posting schedule, you could call it the weekend edition even. =P

I always wonder when I see pics like this. Do you, like I, pay at least some attention to what background objects appear in the shot besides the subject?

I especially like the caption since the monitor logo is where the shot focused.

And, Oooh. I haven't seen CX-300's since forever ago..

Just so as long as they aren't making you agree to a contract period for the introductory rate. A lot of the advertised introductory rates are only valid if you agree to a one-year period of service.

And yes. Twitter does shine at times like this. Remember when I tweeted about my packets to any Microsoft owned domains dying at CENIC servers that handle Berkeley's internet and got @'ed by @rjhintz? That was fun.

For number two, my idea has always been that there should be an option to turn on auto-shortening. With this option on, it should recognize when you are pasting a URL and automatically shorten via tinyurl or whatever choice of shortening service is most convenient for the application to automatically submit and retrieve a shortened URL, and insert that into the post.


That way, no second screen, the process of posting is just as streamlined it is currently, and you still get to see how many of the 140 you have left as you're typing the post.



P.S. You can associate images with a post other than by uploading to something like twitpic and including a link? Did not know this... how does it work? I've seen the location based stuff, but this is news to me.
