in Daily Show - What Differences Between Bush & Obama? (VIDEO) on MsUnderestimated
So, Mark, let me get this straight:
There were trials going on for those prisoners, and now Obama stopped them.
So there are prisoners being held with NO trails right now, and that's an improvement? The Left constantly bashed Bush for "no trails", and now Obama stops the trails, and that's a GOOD thing? Please!
Quit being on Obamapoligist. Holding people without trail is WRONG.

Keith
Dean, the men have been held for nothing. The Dark Side cracks me up when they have no problem with BushCo holding men as prisoners for seven years and no indictments and/or convictions for over 700. If this were you then you'd be screaming like bitches to your government. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

Freezing $100,000 salaries is meaningless. CUTTING those salaries would have some meaning. Most people would LOVE to have their salaries frozen at over $100k.
And those gitmo trails are on hold for a few months, not halted.

in Tim Berners-Lee has lost the plot on The Inquisitr
I think it's pretty comical that you're spreading rumors about Palin without checking the facts, yet call Berners-Lee the one with the problem....
Can't wait for the election. People are going to go insane when Obama melts down.

Not A Rumor
Quotation:
On Aug. 29, The Boston Globe reported that Palin was open to teaching creationism in public schools. That’s true. She supports teaching creationism alongside evolution, though she has not actively pursued such a policy as governor.
In an Oct. 25, 2006, debate, when asked about teaching alternatives to evolution, Palin replied: “Teach both."

in Why companies move to San Francisco… on Scobleizer
San Fran is a great city, but as others have mentioned, it can be pretty cold at times.
The main problem I find with it is that if you're not of "the hive mind", or "common wisdom" of that place, you'll be ridiculed beyond belief. For a place that supposed to be tolerant, I've seen it be quite the opposite, sometimes violently so.
If you can live with that, it's a neat place to be.

Sorry, hit submit early.
If they do go through with the Wi-Fi plan, and if people are worried about getting tracked, they don't have to use it. Impressing your idea of what's right and wrong for people ruins this for those folks who otherwise would benefit from this.
I mean, isn't this sort of thing, imposing your views on others, that many folks in San Francisco are completely against?

I love San Francisco. I've been there every year for the last 10 years or so.
I do find it amazing that people are arguing about free Wi-Fi when there are still so many homeless people in the city.
