TLA and similar services are destined to die soon as Google is coming down hard on paid links. Google keeps getting better and better in identifying paid links so not sure how long TLAs would work.

I hear you on the spamming part. I recently setup a new blog with only one post and it has hardly been marketed. Guess what? I got over 6800 comment spam on the blog entry already. To stop automated bots from commenting on my wordpress blog, i just installed a captcha pluging that should cut down the spam

last week when i went to rent a movie from blockbuster, i noticed their bluray collection which is only a small shelf comtaining no mote than couple of dozen movies. it was a small location but comon! only 2 dozen bluray movies in an entire blockbuster?

you can just use one of the social bookmarking sites to organize your bookmarks. since these bookmarks are public, you can access from anywhere and any machine. no firefox addons needed and you can categorize the bookmarks by tags as well

converting VHS is different as it will require hardware to connect to the PC but converting DVD is pretty simple these days. there are lot of free converters available online and some on download.com

not sure what would be the benefit of link enhancement. besides, majority of cases, its not possible to do anything with the links that are pointing to you unles those are the backlinks you had somehow built yourself.

I'm surprised to see so many people still going after link exchanges these days. First, they dont work the way they did before and second, they are a pain to manage.
