in #398 - If one must on Lint
I just noticed Derf in the background! It has been a while.

"Fang and Sang" sounds like it could be a good Gilbert and Sullivan type performance.
(The only Gilbert and Sullivan I have seen is Pirates of Penzance, so my opinion is therefore suspect.)

Wow, Zedwig sure knows where to stab Fangline to hurt the most.
Looks like Zedwig is suddenly in control of the situation too. Yay!

I think Albert's surprise is also shown by him leaning back away from the incoming Bactine (with angry face) and his raised eyebrows. Great job Colby!

I think it's an elf wearing blue, if the scribble above it really is hair like it looks like . . .

Albert has used his charm magic in the past. If it left behind some of the same suffering as destruction magic, then Bactine just got a taste of the bad stuff which killed all the other healers when they received larger doses from healing mr. sweet cheeks there. We saw her heal Sanguine, way back after their fight with Albert's party (pg 80), without even blinking. This may explain the reaction in panel two. Bactine is experiencing this new kind of "disease" for the first time.

...Or it could be she's experiencing a number of broken ribs and/or bruised organs, and possibly even a small amount of internal bleeding, whereas Sangwine's wound was merely a small surface wound back in chapter three. Al'bert was actually in quite a great deal of pain, although his manliness wouldn't allow him to show it for what it was. For Bactine, it is even greater because she's smaller and less strong than he is, naturally.
Charm magic doesn't do the same horrible thing to the user that destructive magic does, except perhaps it might be corrupting in the case of using it in massive quantities, however there isn't a charmer alive in the Lint world powerful enough to use it in massive quantities. Al'bert is about as strong as they come, and as you can see it doesn't work on everyone for him, and can only effect one person at a time, or perhaps lightly effect a few. He's pretty much a lightweight next to Zedwig's blowing up stuff like crazy-ness. Besides all that, Al'bert uses his magic fairly sparingly, instead preferring to rely on his own natural charm whenever he can, except in the case of being in a hurry or under duress. Or when he gets impatient.

Bactine would not have forgotten Albert using his charm on her.

The horses are indeed wearing blinders in the case of what is about to happen!

Fang has one earing. He did as well on page #323 - The spy is revealed. Why just one?

He always has one earring; that one earring in particular which will remain with no further explanation... yet.

I can see Fang saying the title line in this picture.
