As the process of globalization continues, it would be good to see the wealth of technology spread about the world rather than isolated to Western countries. With the digital age upon us (and growing every day) I can see why this is such an important issue. I think it's unfortunate that most software is so language biased, but I believe we'll see an expansion on that over the next few years. Hopefully people (like Bill Gates?) will be willing to continue to donate money to make software affordable across the world.

It looks like you're headed towards a great topic, I hope it works out well for you!

Jake
www.NoteScribe.net
The Premier Note-taking software

Re: Evernote vs Zotero vs UoL

I've used Zotero before, I think it's a great asset for research as far as logging web information and references. Rather than Evernote, I use my companies note taking software, NoteScribe. Unlike Evernote, it's not currently "free", but as mentioned, Evernote premium is going to cost people some money at some point. NoteScribe is only $21, which will be far lower than what Evernote will eventually cost. It's a great organizational and note taking tool for students, researchers, and professors, so I'd recommend giving it a try if you're interested. Thanks for your time!

Jake
NoteScribe: Note Software

Re: Taking notes online: Still looking

Matthew,

I work for the company that designed the note taking software, NoteScribe, and we have taken into account that users are seeking some sort of online accessibility to their notes. We are currently working on developing a system for users to be able to work with their notes online, so stay tuned to our website for future updates. Until then, I hope that you might try NoteScribe to see what you think of it!

Thanks,

Jake
NoteScribe: Premier Note Software

Re: Starbucks “Nourishing Blends” Are Nourishing My Anger

You know, there is nothing more nourishing (and healthy) at Starbucks than a regular cup of coffee. But I guess everyone needs more, more, and more!
