Berlin seems to be growing in the technology space, but Barcelona is also a top contender:

@Ryan
I don´t necessarily agree with the notion of "Traffic that doesn´t convert is a liability". If your site is generating a lot of traffic, then you are building a core audience and loyal user base. This is one of the most important assets for any site owner.
If you can figure out how to do that and convert, then you´re in great shape.

Love the idea and the core features. However, I would have done without the point system and the gift card... makes the site feel gimmicky and adds a 'cheese' factor to the whole thing -- strategic mistake.

Yes, idea's good, but I agree, the points system may hinder its fortunes. All depends on who ends up being the core user base.

The honeymoon won't last much longer (nor will the $15B valuation). Sell it.

Alas, another reason why the Facebook honeymoon will soon come to an end (as will their $15B valuation).

I agree that the real winners will be the niche social sites. I think the larger social networks (ie. facebook & myspace) are going to fade away as users find networks that are better in line with their specific interests.
In fact, I think Facebook is going to fizzle away (in the U.S.) sooner than most people might think... http://cultureslurp.com/2008/04/22/3-reasons-wh...

The idea is pretty solid, but I think the search application could use improvement. My biggest beef is that the search is very limited and only allows users to search by inputting the exact address and zip code.
What if I just want to simply browse around and view all the stores that deliver in my general area? Some kind of browsing functionality would be especially useful if you are traveling and don't feel like looking up the exact address/zip code of your destination.
