Senator Obama is NOT a Dirty Muslim!
"What you won't hear from this campaign or this party is the kind of politics that uses religion as a wedge," says Mr. Obama, while denouncing statements of him being a Muslim as a smear. Why is the presidential candidate who claims to be religiously inclusive is treating the word "Muslim" as an insult? Apparently, it is OK for Mr. Obama to be associated with terrorists like William Ayers or racists like Jeremiah Wright, but God forbid somebody would call him a Muslim! No, he won't stand for that kind of smear! We admit that most terrorists are Muslims, but most Muslims are not terrorists and the statement on Mr. Obama's website is insulting to hundreds of millions of people.
How could a man who discards his family heritage in favor of political expediency be even considered for presidency of the United States? Where are all the so-called "Islamic civil rights groups" like CAIR, MPAC, ISNA, MAS, etc. who are quick to defend every Islamic terrorist, but are silent when Muslims in general are being denigrated? Would Mr. Obama have the same reaction if someone claimed that he was raised as a Jew? We sincerely doubt that.

OK, first off - the smear site does NOT use the words "dirty Muslim". You're trying to stir things up by saying that.
Secondly, the site is NOT trying to make a case that being a Muslim is a smear in itself. The point is that many, many people are trying to use the idea that he is a Muslim to mean he is a terrorist in waiting, that he's lying about his actual religion, that he's scary somehow. The smear is not the content (that he's a Muslim), but how people are using the implication.
You're reading FAR too much into this in order to turn a non-issue into a big, big issue. Sorry, I'm not buying it.

Likely we got spidered by the "Muslim Agianst Sharia" group, which is aimed to pursuit the following goals:
- to educate Muslims about dangers presented by Islamic religious texts and why Islam must be reformed
- to educate non-Muslims about the differences between moderate Muslims and Islamists (a.k.a. Islamic Religious Fanatics, Radical Muslims, Muslim Fundamentalists, Islamic Extremists or Islamofascists)
- to educate both Muslims and non-Muslims alike that Moderate Muslims are also targets of Islamic Terror
Clearly they have some serious concerns with regards to the "SMEAR: Barack Obama is a Muslim", due the fact that, in their opinion, it shouldn't be considered as a "smear", and that negative connotation should not been given to the word "Muslim".
Anyway, as far as I can read on the Obama campaign website, there are not offensive statements related to the "Muslim status". They are just pointing out that saying "Obama is a Muslim" is simply not the truth. Futhermore, if we consider the definition of "smear" we can find on the merriam-webster.com dictionary:
smear: a usually unsubstantiated charge or accusation against a person or organization —often used attributively
this word has not spiteful connotation.
Certainly this reaction from the Muslim Against Sharia group is a serious watchout which should be considered very carefullly by the Democratic candidate. Campaign managers should weigh the words when they handle such tricky issues.

Here's a thought: why spend your time slandering community leaders when there are SO MANY other pressing matters afflicting us? Why not spend your time and efforts in curbing drug abuse, domestic abuse, corruption, ignorance and MISEDUCATION? How do your efforts establish family foundations, social activism, beneficial education and community improvement?
