in Direction Informatique Au Quebec Utilise Seesmic Pour Un "Pitch" on Loic Le Meur
Tu n'as qu'à utiliser un clavier canadien-français pour clavier QWERTY avec accents. C'est facile, c'est qu'un petit truc à modifier dans Windows :-)

Cool.
I just really did not expect to hear her on your blog!

She built up a small hype in Quebec... It all started with her myspace page...

:)
Happy holidays

in Best recovery from a failing demo on Scobleizer
Robert: Most technical issues can be dealt with if you run tests on-place.

I understand it's not always possible to try before doing a "public" demo.

However, when you plug and pray, Murphy's Law is usually about to strike.

And might I add, especially when it comes to Computer Vision (my field of expertise), the environment you use the equipment with is very important. A change in the use of fluorescent (blue tinted vs. red tinted for example) can result in the algorithms to not work anymore.

Anyhoo... their stuff is neat nonetheless. ;)

Don't you hate when that happens.

Won't people learn to try their stuff beforehand? :)

I second the comment about Atlanta airport, although I don't know the story behind it.

in Le Web 3: Recap on Climb to the Stars

Ouais, j'ai lu ensuite. Ça semble être un conflit de personalité entre Arrington et Sam que le "asshole" de Loic a fait éclater au grand jour.

bah...

Là je trouve simplement que Loic est trop silencieux...

in Post Ad-Tech, Post-Election post (or How Many Times can Post be used in a Subject?) on Technosailor
At least if 50% of the US population is not happy with the election results, you can rest assured than a much higher figure of people are relieved throughout the whole world.
Thanks for establishing some kind of watchdog. Even if it's almost 5 years too late. ;)

Carol: the thing though is that the U.S. is responsible for the Iraq mess, so it's its duty to fullfil its committment. Leaving Iraq the "vietnam way" is not the solution as a regime of warlords, such as what exists in Afghanistan and much of Africa would arise. And that would be very unfortunate.
