Собственно, а зачем заменять то, что уже давно не используется? Единицы пользуются WordPad, а редакторов rich-text уже сделано предостаточно.

Пароли уже выходят из моды. Недавно ездили в коммандировку в Китае по работе и там видели биометрические считыватели, которые логинят тебя на сайт только с твоим пальцем, так что никакие пароли и не нужны. Фотки потом обязательно выложу, но штуки просто потрясающие.

99% людей, которые пользуются платным софтом, лучше найдут пиратский ключ. 1% людей, который покупает лицензионный софт, приобретают его за счет компании, которая не будет искать open source.
