But, but, but isn't it worse to sit and watch your preacher have some kind of anger based meltdown? Isn't that worse than BREAKING the law? Just watch and see how much air time THIS HUGE ISSUE gets compared to "Howard Dean's shout" or "Obama's Preacher." If this issue even gets a casual mention, I'll be surprised. It is too important and has too much relevance for the media to cover it.

Oh, and I'd much rather sit through Obama's preacher's anger meltdown, knowing it was based on anger from years of racial injustice, than to sit through one of McCain's preachers angrily claim Florida was going to be hit by massive hurricanes because God hate "the gays."

I thought he promised to go away as soon as it was determined he was guilty. Well, he was GUILTY and he didn't go away until now. Seems only Democrats have to IMMEDIATELY retire in disgrace if they are caught in hypocrisy.

Anyone, but me, find it strange that when it was reported Obama's passport had been compromised then all of the sudden, the State Department BENT OVER BACKWARDS to immediately claim Hillary and McCain had the same thing happen? Who did this benefit? Why, it neutralized the whole Obama being made a victim thing which would have benefitted him tremendously. Instead, the Bush Admin fell all over themselves to say, "Well, Hillary and McCain had their information exposed, so we weren't trying to attack Obama politically!" Well, I'm still thinking they are hoping to gather damaging information on Obama, and I'm not so sure the Clintons aren't involved in this. Conspiracy theory? Probably, but it seems plausible.

In fact, the media fell for it BIG TIME! Instead of concentrating on whether or not Obama had been targetted, the media started doing stories on "internet security" and general information on possible security comrpomises. They totally skipped questioning the motivations and possible coverup of what was really going on with Obama's breach of security. It all became "ARE YOUR RECORDS SAFE?!!?" blah blah blah...

We should ALL note this occurred on Easter Sunday and ask if God is trying to send American Christians a message. I mean, come on, if this had occurred during a GAY PRIDE event we would never hear the end of how "Jesus is sending a message to America because of 'the gays' and their Gay Pride celebrations!"

I'm still waiting for someone anyone to state we reached the 4,000 milestone on Easter. Yes, Easter. No one has made that particular comment, yet, but I trust if this milestone were reached during GAY PRIDE in any city in the world it would be conflated and the talking heads would twitter about it non-stop for a week. We would constantly here, "Deadly 4,000 grim milestone reached during Gay Pride parade in San Francisco! American Fundamentalist everywhere claiming God is sending America an obvious message."

Tell me that scenario would not happen. Everyone knows it would...

Anyone, but me, notice how McCain resembled Mr. McGoo in his "live" speech about the housing crisis Two things:

A. If McCain is going to address the economy he needs to prove he has a grasp on it by using his OWN WORDS.
B. He needs to wear bifocles if he can't see the teleprompter. Sure they will make him look older, but he looks worse when he stumbles over words because he can't read them. The American people are ready for a President who can read the VERY IMPORTANT teleprompter! We don't need Mr. McGoo for President.

I think the Clinton's roles is to be the Manchurian candidate for the Democratic party. They will either destroy the party from within or join McCain and try to destroy it from the outside by being his "Independent" running mate. She needs to just step down... She is pulling a Joe Lieberman by staying in the race.

I'm begining to believe Hillary is just waiting to bolt and join the ranks of Joe Lieberman. She is with those who have "had it" with the progressive and liberal nature of the Democratic Party. Our party represents "The People" too much and sometimes it has to bend to the will of the people. She is using a scorched earth type of approach. Get the nominatioin at all costs, and damage the party beyond repair if they don't pick her. She is, indeed, a Manchurian candidate. Didn't Hillary used to be a Republican when she was younger?

But, I agree that Hillary and Bill are attached at the hip to the neo-cons and especially the Bush family. At least they were, until Hillary started getting tough on Junior. I think he needs new glasses, but they would make him look even older and we can't have that because, ya know, appearances mean EVERYTHING to his particular brand of voters.

I also applaud what you say about journalists. When I saw his speech live, the journalists were even explaining away the teleprompter and made no mention of WHY they couldn't ask the candidate relevant followup questions. Journalists need to start doing their jobs before its too late. Then again, it just might already be... too late. I'm so tired of journalists acting as enablers.
