I am just pissed as hell about the OCDtard editor tagging the Erfworld article on Wikipedia with a "this summary is too long" tag. That is bullshit.

Re: Why aren’t we all updating Comixpedia?

*headdesk*

Really, Xerexes? There's too much true information in your wiki and it needs to be excised?

Deletionism is not bad because it costs webcomics exposure. Deletionism is bad because a wiki's greatest potential use is for users themselves to define what information has value, and to store it for the retrieval of others. Chopping out information is chopping out information, whether that is deleting an article people would read for some arbitrary and rigged standard of notability, or chopping information from an article for some arbitrary idea of appropriate length.

The only possibly valid definition of notability in a wiki should be "nobody who uses this wiki would ever want information on this subject." The only possibly valid definition of "this article is too long" would be "this article contains information no user would want."

Trimming and merging articles on Wikipedia is the new deletionism. Don't you buy into that bullshit, too.

Re: Two Great Panels from Katsucon 15

"Others" in the first one are Barb Fischer of Fragile Gravity, Nick Borkowicz of Art Fight High School, and Chris "Kilika" Malone of Blue & Blond. It was a hell of a panel, yeah.

Re: The Alternative Comic Apocalypse

PartiallyClips has lost two paying papers in the last six months to this trend. Both the East Bay Express and Cleveland Scene dropped all comics features. If I lose the last few, I will probably put the strip on a long hiatus and focus exclusively on Erfworld and my music.
