Isn't a "Subscription" just a flow to set up a static webhook? I don't see that there's much difference. Static webhooks are MUCH easier to implement.

Pretty much every server-to-server API uses long-lived API keys (Stripe, Twilio, Zendesk, etc) and they are easy to scope. Oauth is mostly just a flow to exchange a key.

Was always confounded by your decision not to allow direct access to APIs and am now similarly confounded by decision to move to new API suite. Neither decision seems very merchant friendly and I do not see any evidence in this writeup that merchants benefit. What gives?

This whole post is wrong. Autopilot is even more helpful in poor conditions. The most common accident is rear-ending which autopilot pretty much eliminates. Not sure how one could reach the conclusion that data shows AP worse than humans.

That's one reason why the autopilot numbers are twice as good. Autopilot is most useful in stop-and-go traffic where rear-ending is the most common accident.

As a newbie, the "tricks" you use to reduce your code size (ternary operator, returning off a logical && or || comparison) are less clear to me than, for example, using more "if thens".

Disagree. `if request.method == 'POST':` makes **WAY** more sense to me than `def POST():`. They both are compartmentalizing the request methods.
