The concept of love tends to dominate my theology too, love as the final solution to the problems we face as humans. Am I loving, or at least trying to be, because it's the thing? Or am I loving as a response to all that Christ did for me on the cross -- because he first loved me?

I think I can see what you mean about this "tension" with the doing part of love. You leave me with much to think about and question in myself.

Re: Loving My Neighbor

Yes, I've felt like that, listened to that stupid voice, and found that it was totally wrong. And I, too, wonder sometimes how many people I've missed out on, because I've made a judgement about them.

Re: A Question For Bloggers

Yes, I've experienced dry spells. I sometimes can't write because of health issues too. One of the ways I try to even out the bumps a bit is to use the WordPress post scheduling feature. By the time we start a week off I've usually got two or three posts already set up to publish. I find it a great help.

But looking at your post, perhaps you've already used the words that explain what happened to you this time. You say you're a writer, and spend most of your days writing. And your dry spell hit at the holiday season. Maybe you just needed the holiday more than the writing. We all need a break sometimes, even from what we love to do.

Re: 100+ Killer WordPress Resources

Great list; thanks for putting it together. I shall bookmark it for future reference -- there's quite a lot in there I want to come back to.
