I seem to remember some startup a few years back that was working on a product to do the smart email sorting you're talking about, but it may well be in the dead pool by now.

To some extent Fogbugz will do this after some training.

Well, other than the geek cred, you can send SMS messages to anywhere in the US or Canada for free and you can make outgoing calls with it as well.

Granted having a US number is not the most useful thing, but it's still cool. :)

Actually I'd been putting of trying Sweetcron, feeling that it would be limited or difficult to maintain. Imagine my delight to find out that it is just the opposite - easy to install, easy to use, and fantastically useful.
