Eat Stop Eat promotes one to two 24 hours fasts on non-consecutive days, with the meal that breaks the fast being a normal sized meal (as opposed to 5:2 which promotes a small meal of 500 calories or so to break your fast). With Eat Stop Eat on non-fasting days you eat at maintenance level calories, not as much as you want.

Re: Three Quick Tuesday Things (and a Peter Hurley Teaser!)

I would say Cairns, Australia. We have the oldest rainforest in the world - the Daintree, and the Great Barrier Reef. What more could you ask for? Incredible aboriginal culture up on Cape York and summer temperatures all year round.

Re: New Horizons for Travel Photography Pros

Hi there David,

a great post. Last week one of my blog readers asked me to do a post on how I got started in travel photography. I did the post a few days ago and I was writing it I was thinking, well this is a nice trip down memory lane but the way I got started over a decade ago just wouldn't work for somebody starting out today.

I feel for Carl in Hawaii. I live in a popular tourist destination - Cairns, Australia - and the challenge is to come up with images different from those being given out for free by the tourism bureaus. I look forward to hearing how you think things will go in the future.

Re: Stock Photography Licensing Models Podcast

Thanks for a great interview David. I thought it was really fascinating to hear your take on how the industry is heading. While I definitely sit in the RM camp it was great to hear a talk between two opposing business model proponents that didn't descend into name calling and abuse.

Thanks again and I hope you do follow up in a year.

cheers

Paul Dymond
http://pauldymond.blogspot.com
