What I don't understand is that the tax rate in these countries is 65%, but Bernie and his wife only paid an effective tax rate of 13% (less than my effective tax rate, who earned far less than he) on a combined income of $200,000. Sounds like he and his wife owe another 52% ($104,000). Or is this like Obamacare, where he and his Washington Democratic cronies are illegally excluded from the horrendous laws they impose on us? Nice to know we have a new ruling class. Instead of kings and queens, we have Democratic politicians imposing laws on us while flaunting them themselves. Why did we even have a Revolutionary War over 200 years ago? At least the British monarchs didn't hide their disgust for the people. These guys act like they care about us, which is obviously a lie. No wonder the Democratic Party is dying. Good riddance!

So, our former President must be the idiot, as you say. No disagreement here. Also, it wasn't our judicial system but 3 federal judges acting as mini-Supreme Courts, which should be illegal (in fact, some in Congress are working to rein in these out-of-control judges, and it WILL change), all appointed by our former President. A federal judge does NOT have the authority to interpret federal laws or Presidential orders. That is solely reserved to the one and only Supreme Court. If this were a conservative federal judge striking down the Social Security Act or Medicare/Medicaid or Obamacare or some other federal law liberals find important (like Roe v. Wade?), I think you'd feel differently.

If it's voluntary and non-binding, then it's voluntary and non-binding, which means we don't have to follow it nor participate. Just what, pray tell, does voluntary and non-bonding mean if it means we're not allowed to ignore it? And why are China and India, the world's 2 largest polluters, exempt? I might support this if all the Americans who support this were required to give up everything they own: their IRAs, cars, houses, electricity, running water, indoor plumbing, health care, air conditioners, clothing etc. and all the other accoutrements and were forced to hunt for their own food and clothing (without guns, of course). But, of course, that will never happen. Giving things up, doing without and deprivation is only for the little people (poor, middle class, minorities, etc.), not the rich liberals. It's just like taxes. Did Bernie Sanders or any Democrats pay 50% income tax? No! He only paid 13%. Again, 50% is only for the little people, not for rich, white liberals.

Isn't that the same country where the SYRIAN refugees are from? And Trump is criticized for wanting them to be vetted first? Maybe Hillary and Obama would like to see this happening is the USA. I totally agree with Governor Huckabee. When I was in highschool, I was called a f*g and q**r by the football players, basketball players and wrestlers all because I did not play their gay sports. They told me more than once that I should go get my d**k cut off and go play dolls with the girls. I would have LOVED taking showers with the girls instead of the boys. I have ALWAYS preferred females to males. And to think, I could have had all this fun without even having to be castrated, by just declaring myself a girl.

If anything it should be $.75, not .75 cent (or cents). That's why you'll earn less than a man. If .75 cents = $.75, then I guess 5 cents = $5. Of course, if that had happened, the Muslim students on campus would have just sent enough IEDs from their personal stores to kill all the protestors, or hijacked an airplane and flown it into the university, killing thousands of students and others all at once. After all, isn't that what Muslims do if they get angry? Or maybe, what if the protestors dressed up in white hoods and sheets and burned a cross? Unfortunately for Ms. Silverman, there is NO wage gap when comparing equal experience AND equal results. Equal pay for equal work has been the law for over 50 years. The reason why women (allegedly) earn less than men is the same reason 20- year olds earn less than 60-year olds. EXPERIENCE! Let me ask a simple question. When a married couple both work and the wife gets pregnant, sometimes they decide that one of the parents should stay home to rear the child. Who would you think that usually is? A stay-at-home dad or a stay-at-home mom? While there are certainly some of the former, we all know that it's usually the latter. Now, let's take that woman 20 or 30 years later after she has reared her last child and ask what is going to happen when she re-enters the work force. Would it be reasonable for her to earn the same as someone (male or female) who has been working for 20 or 30 years? Of course not! This is, of course, not the major reason for the alleged pay gap. The number 1 reason is that women choose lower paying careers. Let's take the medical profession for example. Physicians generally earn more than nurses. The majority of nurses are female, the majority of physicians are male. So males are going to earn more on the average than women. This is NOT sexism, but choice. Actually, when comparing men and women doing the same job AND the same experience AND the same results, women earn between $.99 and $1.06 for each $1 a man earns, according to the federal government's Bureau of Labor Statistics.

suprastarr, if you are a Muslim, then you must know that, regarding the Quran, anything that appears later that contadicts what appears earlier takes precedence. You quote Sura 2, written when Islam was a minority "religion." When Islam came to dominate in the Middle East, tolerance went out the window. Later on in the Quran, it calls for the annihilation of Jews and Christians. Muslims have been mad at Jews ever since Isaac got the birthright instead of his older half-brother, Ishmael. And they hate Christians because they think we are polytheists, because we believe in the Holy Trinity. You are doing the same thing that many Muslims do worldwide: hide the truth about Islam and only quote the "good" stuff. Islam is NOT a religion of peace (with all due respect to former President George W. Bush) because first of all, it is NOT a religion any more than the KKK, Nazism or Communism are religions. It is a philosophy of life. Again, if you understand true Islam, you would know that Islam does not teach the concept of religion nor politics, and certainly not the separation of religion (church) and state. For Islam, Islam and Allah is everything and everything must be "submissive" (the meaning of Islam) to Allah. Secondly, it is most certainly NOT a philosophy of peace. Look around the world. Anywhere Muslims are, violence follows, even against their own people; for example Indonesia, the most populous Muslim nation in the world.

I know, I know, Christians kill each other in Ireland, Europe (in WW2), etc. But, it is most certainly not on the scale as Muslims, and while innocent people are sometimes killed, very SELDOM do Christians INTENTIONALLY kill the innocent (other than abortion).
