Thanks!

Just located this blog ... hope you don't mind this random commenter appearing.

Re: Site feature update – and a request for a bit of help?

I am commenting as a guest because I am too lazy to figure out where/how I log in. But this is your wife ... remember me? ;-)

I like the look of the blog ... very soothing ... in fact, I'm going to take a nap now, I've been so soothed. (But it makes me not like my new BlogLook™ now. Ack!)

Re: What I Saw as a Poll Watcher

Ah. I think we have to be 100 feet away in California. But there's a lot of room here in California. ;-)

Re: What I Saw as a Poll Watcher

I'm confused; are you allowed to wear propaganda while working at a poll? In our state that's not allowed. That's really interesting!

Our son, who had an absentee ballot and managed to lose it, was hassled a wee bit by an older man who was working at our polling point. The guy probably thought, "You silly boy, you lose your ballot, you lose your vote!" Just like what most parents might think. :-)

Our neighbors used to be on the list twice, once as Republicans and once as Democrats. Since I now vote absentee I have no idea if they ever fixed that. Guess they could get two votes in, although they are rather striking people (incredibly tall) so folks who work at the polling place might recognize them.

Re: On September 30, Opus Arte releases the much-anticipated DVD of John Adams’ Doctor Atomic

Hmm. I think this DVD was released on August 1. Not sure where your info came from, but I've seen it already. Or maybe you are just saying in the states? I ordered it from Opus Arte in the UK.
