Ya know Chaloots, it seems that these Bush apologists have amnesia when it comes to remembering the last 8 years. Everything you have listed is pretty much common knowledge (at least to the educated American), but Bushbots will just label you an "anti-American" for saying it? It's sad that people are blaming President Obama for the country's troubles. Again, they "forget" that everyone of these problems were directly related to the Bush admin. Obama came into office with a HUGE task of trying to fix everything that Bush et al. destroyed! But the republican propaganda has and will continue to point the finger at a REAL President, Barrack Obama!

Hey Ger, I feel your anger. It's probably been like that for Yeeeaaars! I wouldn't be suprised to learn that this employee is a Supervisor, or has some other useless title. I'm sure if the "higher-ups" at the PPA are confronted with this, they will probably respond with something like this: "The citizens of Phila. have to understand, that the PPA has a difficult job, and they do not know about the other duties this employee has. It's an essential job, that not everyone can do!" This employee has had intense training in how to properly turn a key. As well as how to roll up and down the windows, turn on the lights, and honk the horn. Sad thing is, there's probably dozens of "jobs" like that in the PPA. Anyone wonder why it's been like that for years? I'll give you 3 guesses, and the first 2 don't count!

Excellent letter Mr. Cavallaro! I think that the people who keep proclaiming to give HIM a "second chance", need to read about what Vick actually did! I certainly hope that the "second chancers" are ignorant about the details of Vick's viciousness towards these animals. Because if these people knew, and are still willing to give this man "chances", they too should visit some of the animal shelters. Vick is an arrogant, spoiled, and vile human being and the only thing he is sorry for was, being caught!

Mr. Latorre,

You have an excellent suggestion in regards to the casinos. Unfortunately, good ideas usually fall to the way-side when it involves city government. We all know that the casinos will be placed in an area that will require palms being greased, and "friends" of those involved getting rich! Usually with "no-bid" contracts. Those elected officials who continuously refuse to listen to their constituancy, will find it difficult to "govern" when we all:

A. Find a new city to live in that will listen to the people who have elected them! -OR-

B. Vote them out of office!

I prefer B, because I love my city and would hate to leave.

It is a shame that in the "land of opportunity", people needlessly die. Canada can take care of all of it's citizens. Germany as well. Along with numerous other "1st world countries". Far too many Americans are not even receiving the most basic of health care. "Land of the free and home of the brave"? Just make sure you don't get sick, if you have no health benefits! Kudos for you for speaking up! ER nurses are on the "front lines" on a daily basis, and have one of the most stressful jobs imaginable!

Please enlighten us as to all of these plans that he is going to be "screwing up"!! You'd be more believable if you substituted the name Bush instead of Obama!

Another one is: "If you didn't like Bush that's fine; but this guy is worse." Wow! How can anyone argue against those "facts"!? I'm sure that every reader who gazes at the plethora of facts you have given to back-up your uneducated statements, will convert the 74% of the people who thought Bush was a horrible president!!

1. What I see was a Republican White House for 8 years.

2. What I see was a Republican Majority for 6 years in the House.

3. What I see was a Republican Majority for 6 years in the Senate.

4. What I see is a country that has been falling apart under a Republican majority.

5. What I see is the Republicans trying to pass the buck back to Clinton and pass the buck to Obama and claim their innocent!

Why do you assume those who are bringing ethics complaints hate her? Maybe they are just people who believe in the law and are seeking justice?? I find it interesting that you said she couldn't focus solely on governing her state because of the constant complaints!!

1. If she did nothing wrong, how could it possibly impair her from governing?

2. She cuts and runs when the heat gets turned up, and she may run for president?

That is not someone who would be able to handle being president. Presidents are much more scrutinized than she could imagine.

If she was considering making a run for the White House, those who would oppose her have all the "ammunition" because she quit on the people of Alaska.

Well Bob, not sure if you are aware of the fact that assasinations are "illegal". You see, our country (as slow as it might be), has courts that either convict or not convict individuals based on evidence presented to them. I'm sure assasinations happen all the time, however it's not to be "public". Clinton didn't "give the order to have him killed", because it is against U.N. law. If our nation goes on record and declares their intention to kill someone and does so, all credibility in democracy is also killed. Does bin laden need to be killed? Yes, but it cannot come from a politicians mouth.
