Petition launched against potential closure of specialist day centre in Ainsdale

The weak Sefton excuse of Brookdale’s unique and specialist
dementia/Alzheimer’s service being ‘underused’ is highly misleading spin; orchestrated with a set hidden agenda in mind. We contacted several local people linked closely to dedicated Dementia/Alzheimer’s support groups and guess what? They had never even ‘heard’ of Brookdale! If one does not know about a facility how can one be expected to utilise it? We cannot permit this cold-hearted council to get away with it! Please keep the petition signatures rolling in! https://you.38degrees.org.u...

Re:
Revealed: list of five day centres in Sefton facing closure

How low can this council and councillors ever get?

Re: Koran burner burnt alive by mob - World News | IOL News | IOL.co.za

A few hundred years ago the 'loving' Christian Church was hanging and burning folk, who it did not like, at the stake. Today this yobbish lot abroad are just as bad and seem to have a long way to go before they grow up in any spiritual scene. All these so-called holy books like the Bible and Koran are biased, man-made, nonsense that do one thing particularly well - divide man against man and create bitter conflict! Religious indoctrination from an early age is the real enemy of mankind!

Re: Britain faces African butterfly 'invasion' - Odd News | newslite.tv

The species in the picture is not a painted lady – it’s a monarch or milkweed butterfly I think.

Pat Regan - author of Dirty Politics and Founder of Save Southport's Greenbelt.

http://dirtypolitics.viviti...

Re: Speed camera makes £1 million in five months - Odd News | newslite.tv

Speed cams are dangerous in my opinion as they make drivers glue their eyes on the speedo rather than the road ahead.
