The weak Sefton excuse of Brookdale’s unique and specialist
dementia/Alzheimer’s service being ‘underused’ is highly misleading spin; orchestrated with a set hidden agenda in mind. We contacted several local people linked closely to dedicated Dementia/Alzheimer’s support groups and guess what? They had never even ‘heard’ of Brookdale! If one does not know about a facility how can one be expected to utilise it? We cannot permit this cold-hearted council to get away with it! Total insanity; Woodvale’s Brookdale Centre for example is a specialist dementia facility and closing that will wreck lives of confused residents, staff and family members. How low can this council and councillors ever get?

A few hundred years ago the 'loving' Christian Church was hanging and burning folk, who it did not like, at the stake. Today this yobbish lot abroad are just as bad and seem to have a long way to go before they grow up in any spiritual scene. All these so-called holy books like the Bible and Koran are biased, man-made, nonsense that do one thing particularly well - divide man against man and create bitter conflict! Religious indoctrination from an early age is the real enemy of mankind!

Speed cams are dangerous in my opinion as they make drivers glue their eyes on the speedo rather than the road ahead. They are in effect cash-making machines on stilts. There are better ways to lessen speed on our roads.
