Thank you lvadog for the link to the court pleadings. I was shocked at some of the things I read there. It is not even confirmed that Smiley is a pit bull mix! Something is sure going on and I believe, after seeing so many pit bulls put down recently at WAIF, that they have got it in for the pit bulls. I worry for the ones they have left. Will they silently disappear from the web-site, like so many others lately? Thank you again for posting that.

We hope Judge Churchill realizes what is going on at WAIF and Smiley. We just read the court documents and we were shocked at some of the information there about Sheila Bibich. It has never been confirmed that Smiley is a pitbull mix. Not that it should make a differance. Pit bulls should get a chance, they all get a bad rap because of a few. Michael Vicks dogs have made a wonderful transition and they were fighters and killers. Now they are happy family pets and some are used for therapy dogs! Smiley needs a chance! I am sure the Island people will really take a good look at WAIF, if this goes on and Smiley is put down.
Thank you Judge Churchill for giving Smiley a chance, it seems there is a conspiracy here to put pit bulls down. Please consider letting Smiley live. The people that want to adopt him are very responsible.
