Painting portraits in oil paint. I used to do watercolour landscapes, but once I tried oils and portraiture I was hooked and probably will be for life. You can read all about my efforts (and see them) at my website :)

Sure, it was "enduring creative". The creative part is self-explanatory, but the "enduring" part is what made me switch from watercolour to oil paint - watercolour tends to fade over the years and the paper it's on can degrade as well, but oils are much more, well, enduring :)

I'm excited that I've gotten past my mental blocks (thanks to my style statement) and I've launched into my first oil painting portrait! I only have the vaguest idea what I'm doing, but I'm learning heaps as I go along and I'm having fun :)
