First and foremost, it was good seeing you there Amanda, and this is an excellent account. Michael did awesome moderating the GLXP panel. I'll be doing my own report later on, but wanted to once again, thank Paul Wieland here, NASA engineer, and gold-winning Author himself, who organized the Authors' track with some of the biggest names in space, Robert Zubrin and Rick Tumlinson, among them, and also Bart Leahy, for his truly outstanding organization/chairmanship of this event - and I think those who attended would agree - it was historic, in many ways.
I was on the Authors' Track panel at around the same time, otherwise would've asked Michael to put me on with my GLXP competitors :)

Excellent. Getting kids interested in STEM could start as early as 2-3 years of age, even earlier, if you're a parent like me. Used to read chemistry books to my 6-month old first-born instead of storie, and it's paid off.

Congrats Amanda. I can't believe it's been a year and that I've been to a couple of events showcased above. The Moonpie competition at SpaceUp in San Diego was hilarious, totally unforgettable.

It was GREAT! A historic reunion, with the fabulously amazing X PRIZE family, and friends from all over the West Coast. This is a great idea. I caught the sneak preview of SDASM's new exhibit last week. My friend, Shalene Baxter of the museum was wearing pink hair, before the amazing "unveiling" performace of P!nk at the Grammys. And though I'm partial about Bon Jovi, in fact all the prerfomances were out of this world :)
