And yes, they are mobile. The NYPD moves them around as needed, usually in response to a spike in crime. One on Adam Clayton Powell BLVD and 135th stayed for what might have been 6 months. The one on Canal Street has also been there for a couple of months, maybe longer.

Re: Doors On Elizabeth Street: Choose Your Own Adventure

Thanks for the tip River, I'll remember that next time I am over there, and will get some photos.

Re: Rachel Trachtenburg's Sweet Sixteen

Milt, will do. And since you have, you should know that you can indeed see them, particularly when they are all grouped up together in one spot. When the babies move, you can see them clearly if you are looking close. I used to work for an agency in Queens who put together one of these community forums on bedbugs, and the city Dept of HPD came down to give a presentation on bedbugs. Baby bedbugs in a group moving around are visible, and you do not need a magnifying glass to see them. Adult bedbugs who have just finished feeding are larger than you would ever want to know. As big a the tip of a sharpie.

And people react to the bites in many ways, and the bites may or may not be "huge red welts". Its possible that some people don't even feel an itch.

Lastly, it seemed to me that Aaron was being humorous about an awkward situation when he said he would sue.

However, I am not being funny when I say I am going to sue you for leaving stupid comments on my blog. I am calling Solomon and Solomon right now!

Re: Vehicle Jumps Curb on 136th and Lenox, Crashes into Scaffolding and People

Thanks man.
