After once seeing a kid set off a firework that shot straight into a 3rd floor window and burned the whole building down, I'm a little more concerned with people losing housing during a pandemic and record joblessness.
They can also be very traumatizing to people with PTSD and pets. So yeah, it's a little bit more than people "LOOKING FOR PEACE AND QUIET."

They HATE peppermint. I doused cotton balls with peppermint oil and stuffed them into all the nooks and crannies where I thought they might be getting in... 3 months and counting with no mouse-poo sightings.

Hey, I can't make it tonight, but Key Bar (on 13th St between 1st Ave and Ave A) has 2 for 1 happy hour 6-10pm. Great beer selection and really yummy martinis. martinis are around $12 (so $6 for HH) and beers are about $6-8 reg price.

oh really? what are the major differences?
the English ones i've eaten had: fried eggs, toast, baked beans, tomato, mushrooms, sausage and bacon. and tea of course.

I think its along the same lines as theater vs. theatre. I tend to use the 'e' spelling when I'm feeling a bit snooty. haha.

Check out dictionary.com. They have it listed more under the 'a' spelling, and "Grey" is more often referring to old dead British people. ^_^

Vineyards are so fun, and gorgeous. My dad used to live in Vacaville, very close to Napa, and he took me wine tasting one weekend. So much fun, very interesting characters those vintners. I also got to wander around the wine country on the Swiss side of Lake Geneva. That was positively breathtaking.
Funny thing, a few months ago I was proposing the idea to my friend that we should quit our jobs and go work as hired hands at a vineyard somewhere in Europe. haha.

My aunt's boyfriend's parents own a vineyard in either Minnesota or Wisconsin. Not nearly as glamorous as Napa I know. :-P

It was on Tirador St, near the Chocolate Museum in the Gothic Quarter. The room actually had a mini Ikea kitchen and a stacked washer/dryer. It was fun buying food at the market and cooking breakfast. :)

So perfect. I was there in February last year, and I didn't want to leave. Such a perfect city.
