Yes, there are a certain number of users who are pure giggly and a certain number who are pure serious, but what about the vast majority who are somewhere inbetween? No, I don't want sparkly crap or coloured profiles, but I do want my Halo 3 profile and Xbox Live boxes as well, which are leaning towards giggly.
