Thanks. I hope I pick up enough tips from these guys before we head of on ours. We're really very tame in comparison.

One of my bosses at work has done the motorcycle trips on almost all the continents and is very supportive of this. Easier to get 6 weeks off work if you dont have to fight the power.

Hey Golda, you're almost as excited as I am. We'll try to use a combination of Ghanaian and UK passports so should be able to avoid getting visas for most of the places.

We have a plan filled out with the number of days we're spending in each Country/City. For most of them, it'll be just overnight but once we hit black Africa we'll try to spend more time in each capital at least.

We're doing this trip whether we get the sponsorship or not and we're currently budgeting £3000 each for everything [including the truck].

We'll get a better idea of the overall costs as the planning stage progresses.

Konkontibaa should be an 9-month old young man by the time we take the trip so he should be able to take good care of his mother. Efuwa is very supportive of the trip and that makes it easier for me.

Sure, but if you take enough sample decisions, you can firmly put someone in the specific camp.

Maybe the only thing it tells you is that the person is in a good mood/foul mood all the time though
